The competition is open to pastry chefs, gelato makers, and chocolatiers who are at least 18 years old. It unfolds in two phases: an initial registration phase and a final round, which will take place on April 30, 2026, at Aromacademy in Rome. The 12 finalists will create a signature dessert served in a glass, in which vanilla must be the absolute star. The desserts will be evaluated by a technical jury according to criteria including aesthetics, use of vanilla, flavor, and structure. The three winners will receive the Vanilla Oscar Trophy as recognition of their personal merit, along with official acknowledgment from Aromacademy, while all participants will be awarded a certificate of participation.
